Ellie Duggan is a Research Assistant on the CanWork study, which supports women returning to work after breast cancer. She holds a degree in Public Health Science from University College Cork and has experience in neonatal, maternal, and health promotion research.

Before joining CanWork, Ellie worked at the INFANT Research Centre, Ireland’s first dedicated hub for pregnancy, birth, and early childhood research. She has developed skills in data collection, systematic reviews, and patient engagement, and particularly enjoys working directly with patients, listening to their experiences, and ensuring their voices are reflected in research.

Ellie is passionate about evidence-based practice and is committed to improving health outcomes through rigorous, patient-centred research.
